Please note that our safety protocols may change as the situation and requirements change. We are committed to effective communication and will notify parents/guardians via email regarding any changes, as well as updating this webpage.
The Township has modified the 2021 program to include the following:
1. Health Assessment
: All parents/guardians are asked to do a health assessment of their child if they are showing signs or symptoms of illness. Please keep your child home if they have a fever of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or above, or if they exhibit signs and symptoms of illness.
2. Outdoor Check-In/Out
: Parents/guardians will check in/out their child(ren) outside in the field behind the Snyder House, weather permitting. Please park in designated parking spots and walk your child(ren) to the check-in/out location each day.
: Campers will be assigned to small groups and mixing/interaction between groups will be limited as much as possible.
4. Increased Outdoor Activities
: Please note that we plan to hold all camp activities outside, including arrival/departure. An indoor location is available for inclement weather, such as heavy rain or extreme heat.
5. Increased Hand Washing/Sanitizing
: Campers will be required to sanitize their hands upon arrival and prior to departure. Increased hand washing/sanitizing will be done throughout the camp day.
6. Increased Cleaning
: High-touch surfaces will be cleaned when switching between pods, as needed throughout the day, and after camp each day.
Campers, parents, and staff are welcome to wear a mask if they prefer and camp staff will support each individual's decision. If a camper prefers to wear a mask, it is highly recommended that parents/guardians send 1-2 extra masks to camp each day. We will be active and your child will be more comfortable if they can switch to a clean/dry mask when needed.
