  • You will not be charged any fees; it will be a $0 value invoice.
  • For minors under 14, an adult must be the registered volunteer.

Watering Tips
  • The best time to water is early morning before the temperatures begin to rise.
  • If watering cannot be done in the early morning, please water in the very late afternoon. It is important to water early enough so that the leaves have time to dry before nightfall to avoid development of fungal diseases.
  • Please water each plant deeply and evenly around the base of the plant. This will encourage deeper rooting and a healthier plant.
  • Water slowly and allow it to soak into the soil.
  • A rain barrel will be on site for water access. Please bring your own bucket or watering can.

Garden Location
  • The Goldenrod Garden is located at Carter Park (1720 East King Avenue, Kings Mills, OH 45034).
  • Walk behind the green roof building toward the pond. The garden is on your right behind the brown bird blind.
